Testimonials
"Dr. Jessica Koblenz’ expertise and extensive understanding of multiple treatment approaches and techniques combined with her calculated implementation was critical in my recovery for a better self. She is authentic in her care and diligence to help patients resolve their trials within her power. She displayed acute perception and resilience against my worn attempts to stay in my closed-off and familiar, but terribly anxious and lonely existence. My PTSD, depression, social anxiety, and certain self-sabotaging thought patterns developed, had taken over my thinking to the point of immobilization, hostility, and ceased progression in all areas of my life. Dr. Koblenz consistently demonstrated masterful, detailed comprehension and insightfulness into the symptoms and problems some veterans develop after returning home. She was delicate in personalization and tailoring a unique treatment to my needs. Dr. Koblenz developed a trust which made me comfortable expressing and challenging my thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions. I experienced difficult, but genuine growth through the intricacies of several therapy modes and cognitive processing through her instruction. Today I am able to implement honed skills, Dr. K taught me, handling and finding a way through trying periods. Dr. Koblenz showed me life’s challenges are the constant and do not stop or slow down, but how I perceive, approach, and handle them can change, making them all manageable. I found a confidence I lost, and discovered I was already living in a world worth fighting for. There is never a rainbow without the rain." -P.M.
"Dr. K had an uncanny ability to quickly pinpoint root causes without having me rehash every detail of my past. My sessions were spent on actively resolving my issues. Her therapy was fresh, inspiring, and non-traditional. I now am able to face life and its obstacles with a new vigor." -H.E.

"Dr. Koblenz was of remarkable assistance to me in recovering from social anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. One of the attributes of a therapist that I believe is of utmost importance is the quality of being an attentive and empathetic listener, which Dr. Koblenz has indeed provided and much more. She has shown a keen interest in my problems and tailored treatment options to suit me personally. Also, having had social anxiety, the fact that she was relaxed and easy to converse with was most welcome. Now, I am on the path to full recovery and have unquestionably seen a profound improvement in my mental well-being. Dr. Koblenz has extracted a life out of me that was once lost and I cannot express my gratitude enough to her. Thank you, Dr. Koblenz!" -DN
"Dr. K was the best therapist I have ever had because she listened to my problems, helped me take baby steps to recovery, and believed in me. I felt comfortable to tell her any issue I was dealing with and she knew exactly how to implement her therapeutic skills. I love to be challenged by questions that make me think and she did just that. These questions have opened my eyes and made me realize different viewpoints regarding my issues. She is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to her work. She always knows how to make you smile when needed and listens to the deep issues. Dr. K went above and beyond for me compared to any therapist I have ever gotten treatment from. Even when I did not have a session with her while I was in inpatient, she would stop by and ask how everything was going. I really appreciate her work and would recommend her for anybody who wants or needs a therapist." -JK
"I felt as though the world was resting on my shoulders. I spent my life trying to conceal my feelings so I could appease others and not appear as too emotional. While on the surface burying feelings seemed to be helpful, it was hurting my relationships with loved ones because I was unable to express my emotions in an effective manner. The loss of a best friend only compounded this issue. I was inadvertently doing activities to help me cope with my grief, but I still felt guilty that I could have done more to help my friend when she was sick. The feeling of guilt was there for years because I had buried it with all my other feelings I didn't want to deal with at the time. With Dr. Koblenz' guidance, I was able to free myself of all the weight my buried feelings were causing. She not only helped me to address my need to bury feelings, she taught me my feelings are valid and how to better express them. I feel like a new person thanks to Dr. Koblenz. I recommend her to anyone seeking a therapist. She is compassionate, caring, and a great listener." -RU
"My 12 year old daughter was very sad and depressed and she would not open up to us. It was affecting her school grades and social life. As soon as she started seeing Dr Koblenz, my wife and I saw an immediate and positive improvement. Dr. Koblenz is a great listener as well as offering practical strategies that helped my daughter cope with her issues. While still maintaining my daughters privacy she was able to keep me fully informed of my daughters progress. I highly recommend Dr. Koblenz as a therapist." -BC
